Lucy De wins turf feature by half-length at Del Mar

DEL MAR, Calif. (AP) Lucy De outsprinted Mai Tai in the stretch to win the feature for California-bred older fillies and mares by a half-length Thursday at Del Mar.

Ridden by Flavien Prat, Lucy De ran 1 1/16 miles on turf in 1:42.87 and paid $13.20, $6.80 and $4.40.

Mai Tai returned $5.60 and $3.80, while Almost Reality was another length back in third and paid $3.80 to show.

Trained by Mike Puype, Lucy De earned her second win in seven starts.
