Free agent outfielder Mike Cameron is in serious talks with the Red Sox, and a deal is expected to be finalized soon. Cameron would team with Jeremy Hermida to form a left field platoon and replace Jason Bay.

Bay has been talking to the Mets and Angels. Boston ultimately decided it didn't want to go five years for Bay.

The Cameron deal is believed to be worth about $15 million over 2 years. Last year Cameron hit .250 with 24 home runs and 70 RBIs with the Brewers.
