Anthony Rizzo of the Cubs and Chris Sale of the White Sox will be in the All-Star Game next Tuesday after winning the Final Vote, the league announced Thursday

Sale will represent the American League after beating out Garrett Richards, Rick Porcello, Corey Kluber and Dallas Keuchel. It is the third consecutive All-Star selection for Sale.

Rizzo beat Justin Morneau, Anthony Rendon, Justin Upton and Casey McGehee to grab the final spot on the National League roster. It will be his first All-Star Game appearance.

Sale is 8-1 this season with a 2.08 ERA and 0.842 WHIP. He missed about a month of action in April and May with an elbow injury but picked off right where he left off once he returned.

Rizzo is batting .280 this season, a dramatic improvement over the .233 average he posted last year. He is tied for second place in the National League with 20 home runs and his .899 OPS is seventh-best.
