Phillies pitcher Cliff Lee is expected to return July 21 in a game at home vs. the San Francisco Giants, Marc Narducci of Philly.com reported Sunday.

The news comes just days after the former Cy Young winner was transferred from the 15-day DL to the 60-day DL because of an elbow strain. He has been out since May 20 but pitched for Single A Clearwater last week, throwing 59 pitches in four innings.

The 35-year-old four-time All-Star is due $35.5 million on his contract after this season.
