Report: Tigers close to acquiring Red Sox reliever Andrew Miller
The Detroit Tigers are close to acquiring Boston Red Sox reliever Andrew Miller, reports Fox Sports' Jon Morosi.
Miller is 3-5 with a 2.34 ERA, 13 holds and a 0.90 WHIP this season.
The Atlanta Braves, Pittsburgh Pirates, Baltimore Orioles and the Kansas City Royals have all reportedly inquired about Miller. ESPN.com's Jerry Crasnick reported that the Red Sox want a top prospect in return for Miller.

Miller, who has a career 5.06 ERA, started his career with the Tigers in 2006, and was dealt to the Miami Marlins in 2008 as part of the trade that brought two-time American League Most Valuable Player Miguel Cabrera to Detroit.
