Houston Astros rookie outfielder George Springer will miss two more weeks after suffering a setback in his rehab, Houston manager Bo Porter told reporters Tuesday.
Porter said Springer will not accompany the team on its upcoming road trip. The Astros play in Boston on Thursday, followed by series in New York and Cleveland. They don't return to Houston until August 25.

Springer has not played since July 19. He went on the disabled list with a quad injury on July 23, before re-aggravating the injury in a rehab game with High-A Quad Cities on August 6.
Springer is batting .231 this season with a .468 slugging percentage. Springer's 20 home runs are second among rookies, trailing only Jose Abreu.
