The Rockies will use special balls for this weekend's series against the Reds in honor of ex-Colorado first baseman Todd Helton.
Each game of the series will have a different Helton-themed promotion. Fans at Friday's game will receive a "farewell" Todd Helton bobblehead. Saturday's giveaway is a Helton jersey. The Rockies will retire Helton's No. 17 on Sunday and fans will receive a Helton "Bobble Gnome."
