Dodgers third baseman Juan Uribe expects to land on the disabled list after straining his right hamstring during Friday's win at home over Milwaukee, Dodgers beat reporter Ken Gurnick wrote on Saturday night.

Uribe believes he strained it while charging in during a foul popup that catcher A.J. Ellis ended up catching. It's the same hamstring that kept him out for more than a month earlier in the year and he said it didn't improve overnight from Friday to Saturday after re-aggravating it.

SI WIRE: Robinson Cano back in lineup Saturday vs. Tigers

In his place, Justin Turner will be on third and could be the team's primary option for the rest of August.

The NL West-leading Dodgers were 70-54 heading into Saturday's game against the Brewers.
