Beckham is hitting .221 with 24 doubles and seven home runs on the season. He is on a one-year, $4.18 million contract this year, and eligible for arbitration in the offseason.

The Angels are battling the Oakland A's for the AL West division title. L.A has a 1.5 game lead, but the team lost starting pitcher Garrett Richards for the season Wednesday, when he sustained a "significant" knee injury in a game against the Boston Red Sox.
