CHICAGO (AP) The Minnesota Twins at Chicago White Sox game has been postponed by rain.

Friday night's rainout was rescheduled for a traditional doubleheader beginning Saturday at 4:10 p.m. EDT.

Minnesota has lost six of seven heading into the weekend series between the AL Central's worst teams, getting swept Thursday at Cleveland.

The Twins' Phil Hughes (15-9) and Chicago's Jose Quintana (7-10) were pushed back and rescheduled to start Saturday's opener. Hughes has allowed one run or none in five of his last seven starts; Quintana has allowed three runs over his previous three starts and pitched five shutout innings in his last game against the Twins.

Minnesota's Tommy Milone (6-4) and Chicago's Scott Carroll (5-10) are to start the second game.

The fourth-place White Sox are coming off a successful set against Oakland, winning three of four.
