CLEARWATER, Fla. (AP) Phillies right-hander Jerome Williams was scratched from Tuesday's start because of a right hamstring injury.

Williams becomes the third Philadelphia starter to miss a start in spring training. Four-time All-Star Cliff Lee was placed on the 60-day disabled list Monday with an elbow injury. Aaron Harang missed two starts because of back spasms.

Williams tweaked his hamstring earlier this week. David Buchanan will start against Tampa Bay in his place. Buchanan had been scheduled to pitch in the game.

Williams was 4-2 with a 2.83 ERA in nine starts for the Phillies last year after being released by Texas and Houston. He's projected as the No. 3 starter behind Cole Hamels and Harang.
