A look at the highlights of what's happening all around spring training in Florida and Arizona today:

GETTING CLOSER

Mets reliever Bobby Parnell is scheduled to pitch in a minor league game. It will be the first appearance for the hard-throwing righty since he had Tommy John surgery last April.

ACE IN PLACE

Dodgers star Clayton Kershaw is coming off a rough outing as he goes into his start against the A's. The NL MVP and Cy Young Award winner was inconsistent last weekend vs. Seattle, giving up four hits, walking three and throwing a wild pitch in 3 1-3 innings.

WORKING OUT

Washington outfielder Jayson Werth is expected to play in a minor league game. He's recovering from offseason shoulder surgery and won't hit, but he'll play the field to give his legs some work.

BOUNCING BACK?

Boston pitcher Justin Masterson is still trying to find his form. Signed in the offseason, he's struggled in three starts and gets another chance against Baltimore in Fort Myers, Florida.
