Bryce Harper hits home runs in three straight at-bats

Washington Nationals outfielder Bryce Harper hit a home run in each of his first three at-bats in Wednesday's game against the Miami Marlins.

Washington Nationals outfielder Bryce Harper hit a home run in each of his first three at-bats in Wednesday's game against the Miami Marlins

All three came at the expense of Marlins pitcher Tom Koelher. Harper homered in the second, third and fifth innings. 

Koelher pitched six innings and allowed five runs while striking out five. Yunel Escobar drove in the other two runs. 

Harper now has eight home runs on the season, the third-most in the National League. Todd Frazier and Adrian Gonzalez are tied for the NL lead with nine.

Harper finished the game 3–4 with five RBIs, and the Nats won 7–5.
