Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Yasiel Puig reinjured his strained left hamstring in a rehab game on Friday and will have an MRI exam on Sunday.

Puig, who went on the disabled list on April 26, was playing in a minor league game for the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes when he pulled up early while running to first base in the fifth inning. He hit a home run earlier in the game.

Puig is eligible to come off the DL on Sunday and the Dodgers were previously expected to activate him for Monday's game against the Miami Marlins in Los Angeles.
