While Major League Baseball released the American League's starting lineup for the 2015 All-Star Game on Sunday night, the team's reserve players and pitchers were announced Monday.

Los Angeles Angels first baseman Albert Pujols, Toronto Blue Jays outfielder Jose Bautista and New York Yankees' first baseman Mark Teixeira are among the biggest names of the benchwarmers.

Pujols will start in place of injured Detroit Tigers' first baseman Miguel Cabrera, who was scheduled to start for the American League before it was announced he was expected to miss at least six weeks with a strained calf. Teixeira will assume Cabrera's roster spot.

The pitching corps is led by the additions of Seattle Mariners' starter Felix Hernandez, Chicago White Sox ace Chris Sale, and Detroit Tigers pitcher David Price.

The addition of relief pitchers Wade Davis and Kelvin Herrera increase the number of Kansas City Royals players on the AL roster to six.
