Toronto Blue Jays catcher Russell Martin took an interesting path to try and catch a foul ball during Tuesday's game against the Oakland Athletics.

In the top of the first inning, Athletics catcher Stephen Vogt popped up the first pitch he saw into foul territory near the Jays dugout.

Martin tried to track down the ball and wound up jumping over the railing and twisting into the dugout in an unsuccessful attempt.

Martin was unharmed in the attempt and remained in the game.

Toronto won the game 4–2 for its ninth straight win.
