White Sox reinstate Bonifacio from DL, option Garcia

CHICAGO (AP) The Chicago White Sox have reinstated infielder Emilio Bonifacio from the 15-day disabled list and optioned infielder Leury Garcia to Triple-A Charlotte.

The moves were announced before Friday's game against the Chicago Cubs.

Bonifacio was placed on the disabled list on July 29 with a strained left oblique. He was batting .169 in 45 games.

Garcia has two hits in seven games over two stints with the White Sox. He is batting .296 in 75 games with Charlotte.
