The Kansas City Royals beat the Los Angeles Angels on Sunday night thanks to a walk-off single by Kendrys Morales.

The Royals scored two runs in the first inning but did not record another hit until the 10th inning, sending 33 batters to the plate during that span.

Kansas City scratched across a run in the ninth inning on three walks and a sacrifice fly. Paulo Orlando hit a line drive into the right centerfield gap with two outs in the inning but Mike Trout made a stunning diving catch to save the game.

Ben Zobrist singled in the bottom of the 10th and advanced to second on a walk, setting the stage for Morales.
