The Toronto Blue Jays have opted for a four-man rotation over their next eight games and have optioned pitcher Drew Hutchison to Triple A, the team announced on Monday.

The Blue Jays have recalled infielder Matt Hauge, who leads Triple A with a .348 batting average, and outfielder Ezequiel Carrera, who had played in 70 games with Toronto before being designated for assignment on Aug. 1.

Hutchison is 12–2 on the year with a 5.06 ERA. The right-hander leads the league in run support thanks to the Blue Jays' offense. Hutchison has only made it past the fifth inning in three of his six starts since the All-Star break. He has won his last three decisions.
