Mike Trout helped keep the Angels in a crucial game on Saturday night, robbing Mariners first baseman Jesus Montero of a three-run homer in the fourth inning.

Montero hit a long fly ball right to the 396 sign in deep centerfield and Trout, who had been shifted to the right, was able to track the ball down and climb the wall to catch it without breaking stride. He then made a strong throw to keep the runner on second from advancing to third.

It was the third home run Trout robbed this season.

The Angels entered the day trailing the Houston Astros by one game for the final American League Wild Card spot.
