After originally being left out of the lineup, Rangers third baseman Adrian Beltre will return from a back injury in Game 4 of the ALDS against the Blue Jays

Texas’s initial lineup released about four hours before game time had Hanser Alberto at third base, but the club posted a revised lineup just an hour before first pitch with Beltre starting at third base and batting third.

Beltre left Game 1 of the Rangers’ series against Toronto with a back strain and did not play in Game 2 or Game 3, though he did warm up for a potential pinch hitting appearance during extra innings in Game 2.

Beltre hit .287 with 18 home runs and 83 RBIs in 143 games this season. Rookie utility infielder Hanser Alberto filled in for Beltre and had two hits in 10 at-bats.
