The 2015 season is over, and 2016 is right around the corner. But which teams and players are likely to be the biggest news-makers and stars of the coming year in baseball?

On this week’s edition of The Strike Zone podcast, Ted Keith and Stephen Cannella look ahead to the next year of MLB, making their picks for what they think will be the biggest storylines of 2016. From a Cubs team that is on the rise and may have real World Series aspirations for the first time in decades to the final seasons of two of the game’s legends in David Ortiz and Ichiro Suzuki, Ted and Steve try to predict what we can expect in baseball next season. Along the way, Ted and Steve also discuss what they’re most looking forward to in 2016, including the continuing rise of Bryce Harper, the Hall of Fame induction of Ken Griffey Jr. and others and which new faces in new places will have the biggest impact.
