Strike Zone podcast: Mark Feinsand on Chapman, Yankees' spring

On this week's edition of The Strike Zone podcast, New York Daily News beatwriter Mark Feinsand joins the show to talk about Yankees spring training.

A drama-free spring training for the Yankees? It's not often the case, but Tampa has been a quiet place so far as the team gets ready for the 2016 season. But there's still plenty to talk about with New York ahead of what's sure to be a fascinating year in the Bronx, so for this week's edition of The Strike Zone podcast, Ted Keith and Stephen Cannella welcome New York Daily News beatwriter Mark Feinsand to the show to discuss all things pinstriped.

Ted, Steve and Mark start their discussion with the biggest news to come out of Yankees camp: the suspension of Aroldis Chapman, and how his absence will affect the team. From there, the trio discuss the Yankees' new-look bullpen and whether Andrew Miller and Dellin Betances can pick up the slack for Chapman. Mark also gives his thoughts on how the team has looked this spring, whether he thinks the roster can hold up through the season, and what New York's playoff chances are in a competitive American League East. Finally, Ted and Steve give their opinion on the Yankees' off-season and their postseason odds—but not before Ted and Mark engage in some friendly banter about "The West Wing."
