Umpire hilariously sells out Dioner Navarro for trying to fool Chris Sale

The White Sox are having a grand old time. They’re atop the American League at 15–6, fresh off a series win over the Rangers, and absolutely shutting down teams with their pitching. So, with ace Chris Sale holding on the mound in the eighth and the Sox up six, there was room for some shenanigans.

Catcher Dioner Navarro casually tossed a baseball back to an unsuspecting Sale, who was absolutely terrified when the ball landed behind him. Immediately, Navarro turned around and pointed toward the roof of the Rogers Centre as if to say ‘Whoa! Where’d that come from!?’

He appeared to have him sold until home plate umpire Alan Porter hilariously pointed toward Navarro, exposing him for trying to pull one over on Sale.
