This week's edition of The Strike Zone podcast brings a special guest to the show, as Rockies manager Walt Weiss calls in to talk about his team's season so far and the historic start of rookie shortstop Trevor Story.

In a quick chat with Ted Keith and Steve Cannella, Weiss discusses whether he saw Story's terrific run coming, what he's done to help his new shortstop succeed, and whether he thinks the rookie's hot hitting is sustainable. Weiss also shares his thoughts on the Jose Reyes situation and what the team will do when both Reyes and Story are active. Finally, Weiss talks about the Rockies' season so far and what the franchise is doing to try to alleviate the persistent pitching woes that have plagued the team for several years, including what he would do to make Colorado a better place for pitchers.
