Curtis Granderson hit a walk-off home run in the bottom of the ninth inning Friday to give the New York Mets a 6–5 win over the Los Angeles Dodgers at Citi Field.

The solo home run came just after Jeurys Familia surrendered a three-run triple to Chase Utley that tied the game at five.

The home run was Granderson's ninth of the season. He finished the night 1-for-4 with three strikeouts

Familia picked up his second win of the season. Pedro Baez was hit with the loss.

The Mets improve to 27–19 and sit just half a game behind the Washington Nationals in the National League East.
