Correa stepped to the plate to pinch-hit for Tony Kemp with two outs in the frame, and took an off-speed pitch at 69 mph from Mike Morin out to deep left. It was Correa's eighth homer of the year, and it came in his first appearance as a pinch hitter.
It brought his batting average to .245 on the season.
Houston improves to 22-29, and Los Angeles falls to 22-28. The Astros will now head to Arizona to play the first two games of a four-game home-and-home series with the Diamondbacks.
