Dodgers move Clayton Kershaw to 60-day DL, eligible for August 27 return
Clayton Kershaw could be back by the end of August.
Dodgers ace Clayton Kershaw has been moved to the 60-day disabled list, the team announced.
Kershaw, who has been dealing with a herniated disc, is eligible to return as soon as August 27.
In 121 innings Kershaw has gone 11-2, posting 1.79 ERA, 0.73 WHIP and 145 strikeouts. He has said he plans to return this season. Last week, manager Dave Roberts said Kershaw had yet to pick up a baseball as he recovers.
The Dodgers entered Wednesday with a record of 59–47, leading the National League Wild Card race.
