CHICAGO (AP) Long-suffering Chicago Cubs fans erupted into cheers and swarmed into the streets when the Cubs won their first World Series in 108 years late Wednesday night.

They showed no signs of stopping Thursday, as a raucous crowd welcomed home players in a caravan of buses at Wrigley Field - with first baseman Anthony Rizzo showing off the World Series trophy for cheering fans.

See the party through the eyes of AP photographers who were on site for the celebration that began in Cleveland and moved to Chicago.
