Girl throws first pitch to surprise catcher: her returning veteran father

Well this is pretty much just the best. The explanation after you've stopped watching, and crying, below:

Video: Rays reunite military family

That's nine-year-old Alayna Adams throwing out the first pitch at the Rays-Red Sox game in St. Petersburg, Fla. on Thursday night to what turns out to be her father, Lt. Col. Will Adams, who came home a few days early from a one-year tour in Afghanistan to surprise his family. Just before the first pitch, a video from Lt. Col. Adams had played in which he said he would see his family soon and advised his daughter to "Stay focused, throw the ball and I love you."
