Above, behold Yasiel Puig doing the kind of thing that will, within the next hour, spawn roughly a thousand #HOTTAKES columns about playing the game the right way: Puig tries to catch a flyball at his waist with one hand, only to let it clank off his glove. He, then, of course, does an even more Yasiel Puig thing by immediately picking up the ball and firing an absolute laser to second base to get the force out on the Giants' Brandon Hicks, who was at first at the start of the play.

But this being Puig, he can't follow up a moment that silly without doing something equal parts funny, impressive and downright goofy to top it. And that's how you get the catch you see below:
