It was the Mike Trout show in Anaheim on Friday night.

The Angels center fielder ripped his ninth home run of the year off Kansas City's Danny Duffy in the bottom of the third inning to extend his team's lead over the Royals to 3-1. (The Angels would go on to win 6-1.)

In keeping with Friday's bombs-away theme from elsewhere in the bigs, the moonshot soared over the left-center field fence and landed 444 feet away in Pride Rock (above). Unfortunately for the Royals, they're used to seeing Trout hit towering bombs beyond the field of play; he hit a 463-foot shot against Kansas City in May of last year.

But because this is Trout and he's never content with simply doing one thing really, really well, he made a ridiculous throw from deep right-center field to nail Nori Aoki later in the game. Take a look and enjoy:
