"I'm feeling good -- better than ever -- to be honest with you," exclaims Ultimate Fighting Championships lightweight Alvin Robinson.

These are words of a fighter feeling reborn.

Indeed, after three UFC fights plagued by injury, Robinson feels he's finally ready to deliver on all the promise he showed coming out of the famed Colorado fight scene earlier this year.

"I'm healthy, confident and I'm ready to fight," he said heading into Saturday's UFC 91 event versus Mark Bocek. "Now I'm healthy and I'm going in there 100-percent. This is the best training camp I've had, and I'm looking forward to getting back on the winning track."

After struggling to find his place in the promotion, Robinson looks at this fight as an opportunity to start over and reintroduce himself to the UFC's fans.

"I look at this as almost like my debut," he stated. "I'm going to get out there and really show my skills."

Robinson's opponent at UFC 91, Bocek, has also had a rough time in the company, going 1-2 in his previous three outings, but Robinson is not taking him lightly.

"Bocek is a tough guy," commented Robinson. "He's fought some of the best guys and hung in there.

"He's accomplished a lot in the sport of jiu-jitsu, and I am a black belt on the ground as well, so it's going to be an exciting fight. Hopefully I can stop him standing, and when it goes to the ground, stop him there too."

After adding famed boxing coach Trevor Wittman to his training camp, as well as work with the University of Northern Colorado wrestling team, Robinson is looking to make a push this coming year, after dealing with some old business first if he has the opportunity.

"I want to get back on the winning track, of course, and I would definitely love to hook up with Kenny Florian and Nate Diaz again," he said.

"I'm going to take it one fight at a time, but whatever takes me on track to face those two and then down the line get a title fight, that's what I'm going to do."

One thing is clear, now that Robinson is healthy, he's as confident as ever about the future.

"If I can go in there and show the world my skills, I don't feel like there's anybody that can beat me," he stated. "All I have to do is go into the fight and execute."

Healthy and with a truly positive mindset, there's no limit to what Robinson feels he can accomplish, making for yet another in a long line of interesting possible storylines for the UFC's lightweight division.
