UFC finalizes 'Ultimate' card

The Ultimate Fighting Championship on Thursday released the finalized UFC 92 fight card for next week's year-end event in Las Vegas.

The card features a trio of already announced high-profile bouts. UFC light heavyweight champion Forrest Griffin will make the first defense of his belt when he faces fellow Ultimate Fighter winner Rashad Evans. Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira, the current interim UFC heavyweight champion, faces a challenge from fellow Ultimate Fighter 8 coach Frank Mir. And former Pride champion Wanderlei Silva, already victorious twice against his foe, matches up with former UFC champ Quinton "Rampage" Jackson for the first time in the Octagon.

There are several other interesting bouts dotting the UFC 92 supporting cast, including the UFC debut of Mustafa Al-Turk as he faces French kickboxer Cheick Kongo, Ultimate Fighter standout C.B. Dollaway facing former wrestling opponent MikeMassenzio, and Dean Lister vs. Yushin Okami in a bout that could have middleweight title implications.

UFC 92 takes place on Dec. 27 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
