Maximum Fighting Championship, on the eve of what is arguably the biggest event in the history of the promotion, held the weigh-ins for MFC 21 "Hard Knocks" with all but on fighter making weight.

The main event features former UFC fighter Trevor Prangley making his promotional debut in a challenge to current MFC light heavyweight champion Emanuel Newton. Prangley stepped on the scales at 205.5 pounds, while Newton weighed 204.5 for the championship bout.

Many eyes will be focused on a heavyweight superfight, however, as former WWE superstar Bobby Lashley brings a 2-0 record into his Canadian MMA debut to face Californian Mike Cook. Although Cook has experience on his side with a 6-3 overall record, Lashley has a fair size advantage, weighing in 15 pounds heavier, and has a tremendous pedigree in collegiate wrestling to accompany his athletic abilities.

Jay Whitford -- who faces Dwayne Lewis in a light heavyweight bout -- weighed in 9.5 pounds heavier than the 205-pound limit for his bout, at 214.5 pounds. Whitford was penalized 25-percent of his fight purse for the infraction.

MFC 21 is scheduled to air live at 10 p.m. ET on HDNet.
