Phillipe Nover was scratched from the UFC Fight Night 19 card after suffering what was classified a seizure prior to his scheduled bout with Sam Stout on Wednesday in Oklahoma City, Okla.

"From what I heard, he fainted back there, but they called it a seizure," UFC president Dana White told on Thursday. "He came out later on during the show and sat down and talked to me. He's going to have to go see a neurologist to find out what's up."

Nover has a history of fainting. On season eight of The Ultimate Fighter, the 25-year-old fainted while White was announcing the coaches to the participants during the opening episode leading to White jokingly referring to him as "fainting Phillipe."

Nover's future as a fighter hinges on the neurological assessment.
