Middleweights Rousimar Palhares and Lucio Linhares are expected to meet at UFC 107 on Dec. 12 in Memphis, Tenn.

Palhares (9-2) was originally scheduled to meet Alessio Sakara at The Ultimate Fighter 10 Finale on Dec. 5 in Las Vegas, but a Monday report from Intheguard.tv said that native Italian Sakara was forced to withdraw from the fight after encountering visa problems.

Stepping into Sakara's place is M-1 regular Lucio Linhares, who will make his Octagon debut on the southern card. Linhares (13-4) fought last month at "Breakthrough," M-1's first major card stateside, where he submitted Mikhail Zayats in a cool minute. He is currently riding a five-fight win streak.

MMAWeekly.com sources said the bout was originally scheduled for the Dec. 5 card, but was recently moved to UFC 107. Verbal agreements are in place and the bout will be made official shortly.
