Monday October 5th, 2015

On Wednesday, Ronda Rousey will become the first female athlete to guest-anchor SportsCenter, reports SI's Richard Deitsch.

The UFC women's bantamweight champion will host the show with ESPN's Lindsay Czarniak at 6 p.m. ET.

“I’m excited to co-host SportsCenter with Lindsay on Wednesday,” Rousey said in a release. “I’ve always appreciated the support ESPN has shown me and I’m honored to be the first female celebrity co-host!”

Before her SportsCenter hosting debut, Rousey, 28, will also make an appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon on Tuesday night, in an effort to promote her upcoming fight at UFC 193.

Rousey (12–0, 6–0 UFC) will attempt to defend her title on Nov. 14 in Melbourne, Australia against fellow unbeaten fighter Holly Holm (9–0, 2–0 UFC).
