UFC interim light heavyweight champion Jon Jones could defend his title against Daniel Cormier at UFC 200, UFC president Dana White said after Jones defeated Ovince Saint Pruez in dominant fashion at UFC 197.

Jones had been scheduled to face Cormier for the outright title at the pay-per-view Saturday, however, Cormier suffered a leg injury in training and was forced to give up his belt and spot in the main event.

According to White, if Cormier is healthy enough to train for UFC 200, he could very likely be in the main event against Jones.

"If they are both healthy, yeah, it's a possibility that could be the main event for UFC 200," White said via ESPN.
