Former UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones said he plans on returning soon from his suspension for testing positive for performance enhancing drugs.

Jones tested positive for hydroxy-clomiphen and Letrozole just days before his scheduled fight against Daniel Cormier at UFC 200 last month.

Jones updated fans on his situation in an Instagram post on Sunday.

"I'm sure you guys are curious about what's going on with this USADA situation," he wrote. "Obviously, I can't get into it because it's still pending but what I can say is that we have found out lots of really good news and I am expecting to be back in the Octagon really soon."

Jones says that he has been "training, spending time with family [and] attacking some of these legal issues" that have put him in the news over the past few months.

Since being suspended by the Nevada Athletic Commission, Jones has been waiting to see if the Commission will hold a hearing concerning his ban. Until then, he can't participate in any sanctioned fights.
