Conor McGregor takes on Eddie Alvarez as UFC makes its debut in New York City on Saturday night.

The sport was legalized in New York back in April and now seven former UFC championships will be in action at Madison Square Garden.

McGregor remains one of the most popular figures in the sport and recently took down Nate Diaz at UFC 202. Alvarez holds the 155-pound title from his first-round victory over Rafael dos Anjos at UFC Fight Night 90 in July.
