PACKERS GAME PLAN

Blitz to disrupt the running game. The Packers' 12th-ranked rush defense relies on exotic blitzes from linebackers and safeties to blow up the running game. Against the Broncos' zone blocking scheme, A.J. Hawk and Nick Barnett will shoot gaps to clog cut back lanes and force Travis Henry to bounce outside into the pursuit.

Use double moves. The Packers' passing game is built on quick throws, but Dre Bly and Champ Bailey are masters at jumping short routes. Look for Donald Driver and Greg Jennings to run a few double moves (slant and go) early to take advantage of the Broncos' aggressive corners.

BRONCOS GAME PLAN

Feature movement passes. With the Packers focused on stopping Henry, the Broncos will use play-action to take advantage of eight-man fronts and run blitzes. Expect Mike Shanahan to call several bootlegs to fool the Packers' linebackers with misdirection, while sneaking Daniel Graham or Brandon Marshall behind them on deep crossing routes.

Blitz, Blitz, Blitz. With Brett Favre's penchant for turnovers reappearing (four interceptions in the past two games), the Broncos will focus on keeping pressure in his face. Look for Jim Bates to send D.J. Williams and Nate Webster on blitzes up the middle to rush Favre into poor decisions.
