Rinne, Higgins, Luongo headline Thursday's Three Stars

1. Pekka Rinne, Predators: Maybe this is the old goalie bias in me, but I don't care. Rinne was the best player on the ice for either team. Through 40 minutes, his effort was mesmerizing.

2. Chris Higgins, Canucks: Props to the goal scorer in a 1-0 game. Higgins was solid throughout, but that could be said for everyone in a Canucks' jersey in this one.

3. Roberto Luongo, Canucks: More goalie bias? Maybe. Yet, a playoff shutout when one goal against could alter the complexion of the game? Luongo earned star billing and need not apologize for a light workload on this night.
