Source: Suns continue rebuilding, agree to terms with guard Dragic

Unrestricted free agent point guard Goran Dragic has agreed to sign a four-year deal with Phoenix worth up to $34 million, a source close to him confirmed.

The move capped the busiest of transition days for the rebuilding Suns, who agreed to a sign-and-trade that will send their former point guard, Steve Nash, to the Lakers just hours before securing the deal with Dragic.

In doing so, they'll bring back the 26-year-old who spent his first two-plus seasons in Phoenix before being traded to Houston for his replacement, Aaron Brooks, in February 2011.

Dragic averaged 11.7 points, 5.3 assists and 26.5 minutes per game last season.

The Suns landed two first round picks, two second round picks and $3 million in cash in the deal for Nash.

Earlier, free agent forward Michael Beasley agreed to a three-year, $18 million deal with the Suns, a person familiar with the situation told The Associated Press on Wednesday.
