The Sports Illustrated cover jinx has struck my beloved New York Yankees in a big way. After putting Jorge Posada, Mariano Rivera, Andy Pettitte and Derek Jeter on last week's cover, three of the four have gone down with injures, with Jeter remaining healthy... for now. To ensure that the shortstop stays in one piece for the Yanks series in Boston this weekend, Bubble Wrap has sent him a specially made roll to protect him from the SI cover jinx along with this letter.
