THURSDAY: 12/18, TNT, 8:00 p.m.
NBA: Spurs at Magic

Dwight Howard's streak of 351 consecutive games played ended during the Magic's 4-1 West Coast swing, but the 270-pound big man said his knee is feeling better, and that he hopes to play Thursday when Tony Parker, Tim Duncan, and the 15-8 Spurs travel to Orlando.

FRIDAY: 12/19, ESPN, 10:30 p.m.
NBA: Cavaliers at Nuggets

LeBron James and the Cavs saw their 11-game winning streak end with a 92-97 loss at Atlanta Saturday. They look to bounce back Friday at Denver where they will meet Carmelo Anthony, Chauncey Billups and the Nuggets. The matchup of division leaders features two of the league's top scoring offenses.

SATURDAY: 12/20, CBS, 2:00 p.m.
CBB: Xavier at Duke

The No. 7 Musketeers have rolled past their first nine opponents (including Memphis and Cincinnati) by an average of 12 points per game. They face their biggest test of the young season Saturday when they meet the No. 6 Blue Devils (8-1) and Kyle Singler, who's pacing Duke in both points and rebounds (16.9 and 7.8 per game, respectively).

SUNDAY: 12/21, CBS, 1:00 p.m.
NFL: Steelers at Titans

With the top seed in the AFC and home field advantage on the line, two of the league's best defenses square off in Nashville. The Steelers are coming off consecutive comeback victories and have gone 14 straight games without giving up 300 yards. Kerry Collins and the Titans need to regroup after a tough one-point loss to Houston in Week 15 if they want to hang onto the top spot they've held all season.

SUNDAY: 12/21, NBC, 8:15 p.m.
NFL: Panthers at Giants

With Brandon Jacobs still questionable, the Giants need big games from Derrick Ward and Ahmad Bradshaw if Big Blue wants to run with the Panthers' DeAngelo Williams and Jonathan Stewart. After two straight NFC East losses (including last week when Eli Manning was sacked eight times), New York needs a win to reclaim what looked like certain supremacy in the NFC.
