Who says LeBron James isn't a music historian? The King revealed that Miami's Big Three (James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh) have started to call themselves the Heatles because "every time we take our show on the road we bring a great crowd." I guess Mike Miller becomes the Ringo Starr of the group but who is Yoko Ono? Gabrielle Union?
Muresan's Moments
With the possible exception of Manute Bol, there was no NBA player more fascinating to watch than Gheorghe Muresan. The 7-foot-7 center averaged 10 points and 6 rebounds per game over his six-year career, but was known as more than just a hoopster. He also starred in commercials, music videos and movies. Unathletic has compiled them all (including the famouscologne ad for Snickers, my personal favorite).
Gifs That Keep On Giving
SB Nation has collected the best animated sports Gifs of 2010.For some reason, this annoying Yankees fan ended up at No. 8 instead of No. 1.
Lovely Lady Of The Day
Ana Beatriz Barros :: JR Duran/SI
We're about a month away from SI's annual swimsuit issue, which gives me an excuse to post photos ofmy all-time favorite model,Ana Beatriz Barros.
Looking Back At Rich Rodriguez and Michigan
By now you know that Rich Rodriguez has been fired by Michigan. With that in mind, it seems like a good time to revisit Rodriguez's initial press conference from when he was hired by the Wolverines.
Lesner's Big Payday
As a wrestling fan, I am all for Brock Lesnar taking a $2 million payday to try and halt The Undertaker's perfect 18-0 record at Wrestlemania (the greatest fake sports record after Barry Bonds and Wilt Chamberlain, as the author of this story brilliantly jokes). Let's just hope he doesn't nearly kill himself attempting a shooting star press as he did in 2004.
SI Vault Photo Of The Day
When I'm not filling in for Jimmy, I run the SI Vault and post funny and/or embarrassing photos to the SI Vault Twitter Feed. With baseball's newest Hall of Fame class to be announced tomorrow, here is the main reason Bert Blyleven should be inducted.
