Kansas locks up No. 1 seed; Big East champ UConn rises to 3-seed

SI.com's Andy Glockner will continually update his bracket projections for the 2011 NCAA Basketball Tournament. The following projections were finalized after Saturday's slate of conference-tournament games ... but predate any results from Sunday's action -- which includes tournament finals for the SEC, Big Ten and ACC, among others. League winners (automatic qualifiers) are listed with their conference for clarity.
* Team officially won its league's automatic bid.
East plays West and Southeast plays Southwest in national semifinals.
Last four in: Georgia, USC, Clemson, Virginia Tech
Last four out: Alabama, VCU, UAB, Saint Mary's
New at-large teams in: USC, Clemson
At-large teams out: Alabama, VCU
Bids by conference: Big East (11); Big Ten (7); Big 12 (6); SEC and ACC (5), Pac-10 (4); Mountain West, Atlantic 10 (3); Colonial (2)
*Florida moves up to a 2-seed. UConn claims a 3-seed after its Big East tournament title. The final bracket will need to account for the SEC and ACC finals and the possibility of Dayton stealing a bid in the A-10, as well as one final consideration of the bubble teams.
*Colorado and Penn State swapped seeds to avoid conference conflicts.
