SI:What’s the gadget(s) you can’t live without when you travel?
Jeter:A laptop so I can watch movies on the plane and in my hotel room
SI:What’s one thing you’d change about hotels?
Jeter:Housekeeping knocking on my door at the crack of dawn! Sometimes we don't check into the hotel until 3 a.m., so I'm not happy about getting a knock on the door from the maid service early in the morning.
SI:What’s one tip/secret you can share with people who travel a lot?
Jeter:Drink a lot of water before and during the flight so you don't get dehydrated.
SI:What's your least favorite way to travel?
Jeter:By bus. We had to travel by bus in the minor leagues and it makes for a really long, uncomfortable trip.
SI:Do you care where on a plane you sit?
Jeter:Doesn't matter to me
SI:What’s your favorite city to visit?
Jeter:I like going to Anaheim because they have a great stadium.
SI:What’s your favorite sports venue to visit as a fan or player?
Jeter:As a player my favorite venue is Angel Stadium in Anaheim. As a fan it has to be Madison Square Garden.
SI:What’s your least favorite sports venue to visit as a fan or player?
Jeter:I'd have to say Minnesota because the stadium is a dome. I don't really like playing indoors or on artificial turf.
SI:What’s your favorite place to eat on the road?
Jeter:I don't have one particular restaurant but Italian is my favorite.
SI:What kind of music do you listen to on the road?
Jeter:Hip Hop and R&B.
SI:What's the first thing you do when you get home from a trip?
Jeter:The first thing? Sleep!
