This morning's Hot Clicks led with a tremendous photo of Nationals outfielder Jayson Werth leaping above home plate in the arms of his excited teammates. Now, just like that, we have a JWerthRidingThings Tumbler page with all sorts of goodness. Oh, as for the picture above, we now have a Jayson Werth cupcake ( via @ThinkFluffy).
Passionate Bunch
Despite their team getting eliminated on Thursday night against the Tigers, A's fans still had plenty of energy and enthusiasm after the defeat. Check out how they mobbed this reporter, who was trying to do a live report following the game. Make sure you stick with it until the end to see the dude with the crazy cup stack.
Clear Eyes, Full Hearts, Can't Use
Friday Night Lights creator Peter Berg has told Mitt Romney to stop using the show's signature slogan.
Lovely Lady Of The Day
How U.K. model Rosie Roff has not appeared in Hot Clicks over the past five-and-a-half-years is one of life's great mysteries. That nonsense ends today, though, as she gets the LLOD honors.
A True Love Story
A former Bengals cheerleader/teacher who was accused of having sex with one of her students pleaded guilty to that charge earlier this week. Now, after already doing the deed, she's ready to go on a first date with the lad. This story now gives me a excuse to link to this piece on the most famous NFL cheerleaders of all time.
E-Mail/Experiment Of The Day
JJ, of Toronto, wrote earlier this week to say, "Jimmy, first off I would like to say that I am a huge fan. Your work is awesome.Secondly, I need your help. I am a 17-year-old that has way too much knowledge about sports. Particularly, the NHL, NCAA, NFL, NBA and MLB. I am the ultimate sports nerd. This year I have been following the spreads for NCAA football. Believe it or not, my current record is 8-0. I'm coming off a two-win week, picking Oklahoma and Duke to both cover their spreads. I came up with this crazy thought that one day I would be Floyd Mayweather's Sports Betting Consultant. You and I both know that Floyd Mayweather enjoys betting on sports. This is where I need you. Do you have any kind of personal contact with him? Even if all you have is his Twitter account, can you pitch this idea to him? I know it's crazy but it's worth the shot."

I wrote back to JJ and told him that I don't have any way of contacting Mayweather. Plus, Mayweather's "I only reveal my winners" antics has gotten him banned from Hot Clicks. However, I'm a sucker for a good gambling experiment, so I told JJ to give me his picks for this week and I'd include them in Hot Clicks. I figured we can see what the kid's got and maybe we can make him a weekly fixture. His picks for Saturday: Michigan-Illinois (Over 49); USC -13 vs. Washington, and West Virginia -4 vs. Texas Tech.
Prank Video Of The Day
People don't react well when they think a rat is getting near them.

Commercial Of The Day
I never thought I'd see Snoop (is it Dogg or Lion these days) in a Hot Pockets commercial, but here he is singing "Pocket Like It's Hot."
